License
When you purchase Burst2GIF, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the software on up to 2 computers that you own.
Intellectual Property
Burst2GIF, including all code, design, documentation, and associated materials, is the exclusive property of Marek Topolar. All intellectual property rights are reserved. Your purchase grants you a license to use the software, not ownership of the software itself.
Third-Party Software
Burst2GIF includes the following open-source components, which are distributed under their respective licenses:
- FFmpeg (LGPL 2.1+) – ffmpeg.org
- ImageMagick (ImageMagick License) – imagemagick.org
- ExifTool (GPL / Artistic License) – exiftool.org
Source code for these components is available at the links above. The use of these components does not affect the proprietary nature of the Burst2GIF plugin code itself.
Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the software to third parties
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the software for any unlawful purpose
Refund Policy
No refunds. We offer a free version with 10 exports so you can fully test the plugin before purchasing.
Disclaimer
Burst2GIF is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Marek Topolar be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software license.
Updates
Your purchase includes free updates for the major version you purchased.
Termination
This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and destroy all copies in your possession.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
